A dry town
No alcohol is sold anywhere in Ocean City, and drinking in public or on the beach is against the law.
Beach tags
Required for ages 12 and up from early June through Labor Day (June 1–Sept. 7 in 2026). 2026 prices: $10 daily, $20 weekly, $30 seasonal through May 31 ($35 after).
Parking
Street parking and city lots are free Oct. 31 to May 1. The rest of the year, meters take ParkMobile and city lots never top $25 a day.
Boardwalk jitney
Summer jitneys loop from 55th Street to North Street, 5–11pm daily (June 19–Sept. 7 in 2026). $3 cash one way; kids 5 and under ride free.
